PAX EAST 2018
We delivered an incredibly experience to all the participants.
Holding competitions, a gaming corner, and a VR racing course; there was a lot of excitement going on with Auros. There was a big competition for players of
PUBG (Player Unknown's Battleground)
and the prizes were just as equally important, 12 players fought 2v2 style with an enhanced version of CQB. If the winning team can manage to attain 2, 4 or 6 consecutive wins they walk away with an Aorus Gaming Mouse Pad (2), an Aorus M3 Gaming Mouse (4) and the Aorus Gaming Headset (6).
There was also a 6v6 tournament were random participants fought their way to winning an Aorus K7 Gaming Keyboard, Aorus M3 Gaming Mouse and a Golden Skillet/Trophy. There was also discounted hardware that sold out very quickly!
My time at PAX was very fun, I enjoyed working with Auros bringing the mantra
"TEAM UP. FIGHT ON." To life. There was still much to do around the site, with Overwatch matches happening and a VR Race, course I would say my favorite part of the Aorus experience was the Gaming Corner which gave many gamers an experience of a life time. For those seeking to become streamers, understanding how to design a Gaming Corner is essential. Aorus Technology converted a shipping container into a Gaming Corner experience. The Gaming Corner had the complete Aorus set-up (2 monitors, a microphone, gaming chair, headset, mouse and keyboard), mini fridge, beanbag chairs, dart board and an Overwatch figurine display. Those looking to enhance their streams were definitely inside the Gaming Corner to get a better feel of what its like to take their gaming to the next level. There were quotes for the some Aorus gear: Aorus K7 Keyboard was "Smooth as butter","Smoother than butter", "Fast response time" and "Land-o-lakes on a hot skillet.", Gigabyte Aorus AGC300 Gaming Chair has "Great lumbar support", "2 adjustable cushions", and "Incredible reclining", last but not least the M3 Gaming mouse was noted to have "Great designing for wrists" which is a great addition to what Aorus can deliver. Making sure gamers can retain the ultimate level of comfort for those gaming marathons.
All in all I was thrilled to have worked with these incredible companies and hope to do so again next year! (or sooner!) A cross between a Mecha and Metapod!
